Josef Haf, son of Adalbert and Emilie Haf (Schallhammer), was said to be pronounced dead by the district courts in Augsburg in 1923 due to missing in action during WWI. Josef would be the great-uncle of yours truly.

A huge thank you to my cousin Lars Kink, who lives in Pfronten and has been looking up records at the Augsburg Court house and archives.
