After the war. Jack returned to his hometown of Jacksonville, met and married Faye Barnett and started his family. In 1950, Jack began his career in the foreign oil business, starting with Aramco in Saudi Arabia. After 11 years with Aramco, he brought his family back to Tyler. After spending three years in Tyler real estate, he decided to follow his passion for overseas work and travel. He returned to the Middle East for five years, then on to the Caribbean, Indonesia, West Africa and Australia.
When it came time to retire from the oil business, he wasn't ready to stop working, so he started a career as a stock broker in Tyler. He worked out of his home until his Alzheimer's disease prevented him from continuing.
The family would like to give a very special thanks to Lavania Anderson Campbell and Bobbie Ross for their friendship and loving care of Jack.
