Anna first married George Henry Ransdell. George was born May 7, 1901, in Jasper County, Illinois, the son of James Henry and Martha Elizabeth "Mattie" (Biggs) Ransdell. They had the following known children:

Anna and George divorced and George died in November 1944, in Willow Hill, Jasper County, Illinois.
Anna then married Robert William Higdon on October 9, 1937, in Indiana. Robert was born August 26, 1894, in Allensville, Todd County, Kentucky, the son of John T. and Laura E. (Bagby) Higdon. According to his World War I Draft Registration, Robert had been previously married. In the 1940 Census, two of Robert's children from his first marriage were living with him and Anna. Anna and Robert had the following known children:
3. Danny Higdon.
Robert died July 3, 1948.
Anna then married Forrest Vibert Hughes Forrest was born March 16, 1900, in Ohio, the son of Perry warner and Maud (Leveck) Hughes. Anna died January 15, 1983, in Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona. Forrest died June 1983 in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.
