Genevieve L. Krieger, 90, of Salisbury Township, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 in her home. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late William and Frances (Werst) Haney. Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Krieger, Sr. in 2015. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. Genevieve was past president of District 8 and Sr. vice president of the Ladies Auxilliary VFW Post 2124.
Survivors: Son, Craig Krieger and wife Patricia of Salisbury Township; Brothers, Thomas Haney and wife Cathy of Jim Thorpe, Russell Haney and wife Kathy of Bath; Sister, Faye Brunell of Hellertown; Grandchildren, Amber, Sean, Alicia, Patrick; Great Grandchildren, Dylan, Kevin, twins Jacob and Jonah, Avri, Rylee, and Teagan. She was predeceased by a son, Harry G. Krieger, Jr., a brother, William Haney and a sister, Barbara Moll.
Services: A viewing for family and friends 5:30-7:30pm Friday, December 21, 2018 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc. 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown, PA 18103 and Saturday December 22, 2018 9:30am with a 10:30am service to follow. Interment to be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
