ELLEN GRAHAM DIES SUNDAY AT AGE OF 88

Mrs. Ellen Graham, age 88, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 19 at the home of her son, George Graham, Bethany. She was born in Wolfe County and lived here all her life.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 at the Bethany Church with Rev. H.S. Clark of Georgetown officiating. Burial will be in the Graham cemetery at Hollonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, many years ago. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Lockard, Campton, and Mrs. Sarah Brewer, of Jackson, and Mrs. Pearl Brewer, Indiana; six sons: George, Bethany; Rich, Detroit, Mich; W.E. Graham, Bethany; Amos, Breathitt county, and Att. J. Douglas Graham, Campton. She leaves to mourn her loss, a total of 107 grandchildren and great grandchildren combine; also two
sisters and a brother.

Mrs. Graham was a staunch Christian all her life and lived by her faith. She often said she never had a doctor from the time she was 25 years of age and was blessed with a rich life filled with repeated blessings because of her great faith in Christ. She was apparently well up until the time of her death.
