CAPE NEDDICK, MAINE - David A. Stacy, 43, of 1359 US Rte 1, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Massachusetts General Hospital with his family by his side. He was born August 25, 1970 in Portsmouth, a son of John A. and Gail A. (Cross) Stacy. He was educated in the York school system. He had worked as a Federal Police Officer at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 13 years. He had also worked at the York County Sheriff Dept., and for Pinkerton Security Co. in Florida. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer until he had a work-related injury. He was a member of the St. Aspinquid Masonic Lodge and a former member of the York Beach Fire Department, and the American Legion. He was a friend to all. Besides his parents of Cape Neddick, Maine, he is survived by a daughter, Amber C. Stacy, of South Berwick, Maine; a sister, Kimberly A. Coleman and her husband Patrick of North Berwick, Maine; a niece, Kailey Coleman; a nephew, Devin Coleman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a Masonic service to begin promptly at 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 9 in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, ME. Refreshments will follow in the St. Aspinquid Masonic Lodge. Memorial donations may be made to the York Beach Fire Department, St. Aspinquid Lodge "Angel Fund" or to the York Ambulance Assoc.
