Warren E. Persons, 88, formerly of Albany, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007. He was born September 26, 1918 in Middlefield, N.Y., the son of the late Edward and Orrie Baldwin Persons. Mr. Persons served in the Army during World War II. He retired from the State of New York. He was predeceased by his wife Martha in 1978; sisters, Clare Persons, Vera Latte and Leta Cornish. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday 1 p.m. at the Frederick Funeral Home, 633 Central Avenue, Albany. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, N.Y.
