This memorial was originally added according to information entered into the Honse Family Bible. That Bible traveled from Pennsylvania to Missouri when Ann Eliza's father, stepmother and half siblings moved in the 1870's and settled along the Gasconade River. The future stepmother had been the Honse's housekeeper while Eleanor, Ann Eliza's mother was alive. Before Eleanor Honse's death, she named her baby after that housekeeper, Ann Eliza Ridal. Richard Honse and Ann Eliza Ridal were later married. Thanks to Contributor Sherry Keefer Bonham for posting a picture of the stone and verifying that this little girl was in deed buried here alongside her mother, who died four months before.
