On March 9, 1945, a precious daughter was born to the late Ludie Carter (1988) and the late Clyde Carter, Sr. in Belle Glade, Florida.

Lena joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of O. C. Allen on February 6, 1994. Shortly after joining she became an active member of the Pastor's Aide, now Shepard's Care Ministry and served faithfully until her demise. While under the current leadership of Dr. James B.
