Mr. Dazey was born in Sheridan, Wyoming, on August 27, 1943, to the late Ralph Marvin Dazey and Eurie Lena Timm Dazey. He was a retired electrician for the TVA. Herbert was a veteran in the US Army. He attended New Work Fellowship and was a member of Western Hill Golf Course and he was in the electrical Union. His son, Jeff Smith; his grandson, Anthony; three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Betty Smith Dazey; his son, Derek Dazey of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Sherrie Stagner and her husband, Ronnie of Lebanon, TN; his brother, Bud Dazey and his wife, Ramona of Washington, DC; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild and a host of family and friends.
