Anthony "Tony" Milligan of Yuba City, passed away December 9, 2018, at the age of 92. Born in Independence, Oklahoma, Tony served in the U.S. Navy aboard the battleship U.S.S. Nevada then settled in Yuba City, where he met and married his wife Celbra Baldridge in 1947.
Tony operated Service Stations on Percy Ave. in Yuba City before partnering with his brother-in-law Ben Ivy in B & T Construction Co. doing paving work until their retirement in 1992.
Tony loved watching NASCAR, gardening, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, son, brother, grandsons, granddaughters, 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Celbra Milligan; daughter, Vickie Hern; sister, Lillie Baldridge; brothers-in-law, Ray Baldridge, Earl Matthews, Waymon Webb; sister-in-law, Linda Milligan; and his parents, Charlie and Nora Milligan.
Services will be held Monday, December 17, 2018, at 12:00 at the Chapel of the Twin Cities, 715 Shasta St., Yuba City. Burial will be at Sutter Cemetery.
