Graveside services for Francis Lee Beauchamp were held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., at the Rattan Cemetery in Rattan with Brother James Campbell officiating. Francis passed away on October 20, 2018, in Antlers, at the age of 89. Francis Lee Beauchamp was born July 5, 1929, in Eldorado, to Charlie Watts Beauchamp and Roma (Taylor) Beauchamp. He had lived in this area since retirement in 1976 after a long career at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City and spent a good part of those years building and remodeling homes, which he enjoyed a great deal. Fran, as those close to him knew him, was a positive and jovial person who loved life, going to church, would drop anything to help anyone, an avid reader, and loved being outdoors. He was a proud veteran, serving his country with the Air Force, earning him the nickname "Bo" from his fellow servicemen at Tinker Air Force Base. Francis loved spending time with his family, he particularly got a kick out of pestering his kids and grandkids. Francis was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Elvira Beauchamp; and second wife, Hazel Beauchamp. Francis is survived by his daughter, Charolette Tuck, and husband, Troy, of Ringold; sons, Maurice Beauchamp, of Rattan, and Michel Beauchamp, of Arkansas; grandchildren Tony, Dana, Michael, Jennifer, Raquel, Amanda, and Laura Rose; and many great-grandchildren. Family and friends are also invited to sign the guest book or send private condolences to the family at www.mtolivefh.com.
