Mr. McDaniel passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi.
He is preceded in death by his son, Wayne Lee McDaniel; father, Howard McDaniel; mother, Sarah Captola (Rushing) McDaniel; brother, Howard Segrest McDaniel; sister, Helen Meziere; sister, Ellen Meziere; sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Abernathy; sister, Dewoka McDaniel and sister, Shirley Jones.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Donald Bass of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son, James Howard "Jay" McDaniel, Jr. of Melville, Louisiana; son, William Raymond "Bill" McDaniel of Mer Rouge, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, James Hardy and Julie McDaniel of Pioneer, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Mark Howard and Suzy McDaniel of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Amanday Ann "Amy" and David Reems of Forest, Louisiana; 10 grandchildren: Dalton, Sarah, Lydia, Jason, Judith, Ashley, Austin, Jamie, Dylan and Alyssa and 9 great grandchildren: Harley Marie, Bryan, Eli, Alissa, Devin, D'Ann, Tessa, Adaline and Lanie Ray.
