Ronald “Milky” Leroy Ainsworth, 65, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at his residence.

Born December 11, 1952 in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, where he lived his whole life. He was the son of Kathleen “Pud” Ainsworth of Harpers Ferry and the late Frank Ainsworth.

Milky was a graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 1973, where he played sports and continued playing softball in different leagues after graduation. He worked in the construction business until his retirement. He was an avid 49er’s fan and loved riding around town looking for deer.

Milky was a member of the Charles Town Moose Lodge and a lifelong volunteer at the Friendship Fire Company.

He is survived by his daughter, Tara Anderson, granddaughter, Harlow Chandler, mother Kathleen Ainsworth, sisters, Patricia Longerbeam, Christine D’Angelo, Bonnie Harsh, and Brenda Fauble and one brother Donald “Albert” Ainsworth.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank and brother, James Ainsworth.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Sam Tryon officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Bolivar, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
