SHERMAN — Funeral services for Margie Helen Abbott Lemons of Sherman were held Saturday, April 28, 2007, in Steverson Funeral Home Chapel in Anadarko, Okla. Ted Mercer, pastor of Grace Christian Fellowship, officiated. Burial was in Gracemont Cemetery.
She died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, in Sherman.
Surviving are her daughter, Norma Grokett of Sherman; son, Wesley Abbott of Shawnee, Okla.; sisters, Margaret McGee of Belton and Mary Ethel McCoy of Pennsylvania; and seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She married Joe Amon Abbott on 9-30-1933 and then married second Claude Riley Lemons on 1-1-1976.
