On Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, Urcie Kathryn (Uhl) Allen went to be with her Lord at the age of 81 years. Urcie was born on Dec. 28, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas, to Gilford H. “Billie” and Urcie Kathryn (La Ro) Uhl.
Urcie retired from Southwestern Bell after more than 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert C. “Bob” Allen Jr.; and brothers Gilford “Corky” La Ro Uhl and Billie Samuel Uhl.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 14, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral chapel.
Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Sayers.
