Lois E. Stanley was born on June 15, 1925. She married Don Stanley on September 13, 1946. They were in the full-time ministry together until 1952 when they were invited to move to the Kansas/Nebraska area to assist congregations as Circuit Overseer and wife. They were to enjoy their spiritual blessings together only a short while, though. Her beloved Don fell asleep in death in 1957. But due to her great love for Jehovah and for her neighbors, Lois continued in the full-time pioneer work until her death on November 31, 2018.

Lois may not have had any biological children, but her life was full caring for her spiritual children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and yes, even great-great grandchildren! For teaching people about Jehovah she was blessed with a world-wide family, and she was kept active in a meaningful vocation that gave her much joy.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Lois will remember her beautiful smile, her positive disposition, and her warm, caring personality. We can be confident that we will see her beautiful smile again soon, and it will be even more beautiful because in the resurrection Jehovah God has promised to make her "flesh fresher than youth," yes, she will "return to the days of (her) youthful vigor." (Job 33:25)
