Mildred Renak, 77, of Idaho Falls, died February 24, 1998, at Columbia Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of heart failure.
She was born January 19, 1921 at Pocatello, to Elmer and Priscilla Jernberg. She grew up and attended schools in the Pocatello and Mud Lake area, and attended nursing school in Weiser, Idaho.
She moved to Idaho Falls where she married Darrow Homer Woodard in November 1959. She was a homemaker and attended cosmetology school at Josie's Hair Salon in Idaho Falls. Her husband preceded her in death. One June 29, 1989 she married Kenneth E. Renak at the Church of God in Idaho Falls.
She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Idaho Falls. She enjoyed horseback riding, dancing, and walking for exercise. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Renak of Idaho Falls; a daughter, Sandra Woodard of Idaho Falls; two brothers, Harry Jernberg of Terreton, and Melvin Jernberg of Dubois; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Merritt Jernberg.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home in Idaho Falls with Pastor Kirk Casey of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Annis-Little Butte Cemetery.
