Don Krogue Richards, 84, peacefully passed away at his Farmington, Utah home on Thursday, 29 November 2018, while surrounded by his family.

Don was born in Ogden, Utah on 7 December 1932 to Alton and Phyllis Richards. He was the eldest of their five children and was raised in Ogden. Following high school graduation, Don graduated with his Associate's degree from Weber College. He then attended Brigham Young University for one semester; then was drafted into the Army and served in the Korean War.

Don received an honorable discharge and returned the "Y" to continue continue his educational pursuits. There, he received both his Bachelor’s degree in Math and Physics and his Masters’ degree in Secondary Education. He took a job teaching math at Utah State University and, while there, completed his Doctorate in Educational Administration.

Don is survived by his second wife, Lynette; four children, thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Rex Alton Richards.

A Celebration of Life was held at 2 P.M., on Saturday, 8 December 2018 at Russon Brothers' Farmington Mortuary, 1941 North Main, after which, Graveside services and interment were held in the Farmington City Cemetery.
