Mrs. Mellor was born Oct. 18, 1918, in Riddle, Ore., and moved to Vancouver in 1942.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Smith-Reynolds Post 14 and the Good Sams traveling club. She enjoyed square dancing, camping, crocheting and candy making.
Her husband, Orlando, died in 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Fred of Herndon, Va., and Tom of Seattle; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel.
The body will be cremated and inurned at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
