KANNAPELL, CHARLES CARTER, 76, of Bethesda, MD, died Monday, November 17, 2008. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Mudd Kannapell, loving father of C. Carter Kannapell Jr. (Smythe) of Washington, D.C., Frank Finan Kannapell (LeAnne) of Chevy Chase, MD and John Edward Kannapell II (Renee) of Bethesda, MD; grandfather of Connor, Lillian, Charles, Dylan, Jack and Caroline; brother of Jane Kannapell Stough, James Douglas Kannapell, Nicholas Allen Kannapell and the late John Edward Kannapell Jr. and Elizabeth Kannapell Graves. Friends will be received at Pumphrey's Bethesda-Chevy Chase Funeral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD, Friday, November 21, 2008, 4-6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Western Avenue and Quesada Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20015 on Saturday, November 22, 2008, at 9 a.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kiwanis Foundation of Washington, D.C., 6931 33rd Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20015.
