December 21, 1971 at a local infirmary. Survived by wife, Mrs. Alma Willoughby Williams, Nashville; daughters, Mrs.Doris Bates, Liberty, Tenn., Mrs. Linda Binkley, Miss Shirley Garmon, both of Nashville; sons, Frank Williams, Houston Williams, both of Dickson, Tenn., Gordon Williams and Oval Williams, Jr., both of Nashville; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Tubbs, Mrs. Liba Kyler*, both of Alexandria, brother, Jesse Williams, Nashville. Remains are at the Chapel of Pettus-Owen & Wood, where services will be held Thursday morning at 11:30 conducted by Bro. Donald Northcutt. Honorary pallbearers will be Employees of TVA, active pallbearers: Bertie D. Johnson, Dan Foster, Pat Binkley, Henry Bates, Leonard Slate, Charles W. Hulan, Glen Summers, Clyde Harris. Interment Harpeth Hills Cemetery.
