Gary Dean Cooper, 66, of Columbia, passed away on December 3, 2018 at Lenoir Woods.
A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Parker-Millard Funeral Services in Columbia, Missouri.
Gary was born to Darrell and Betty Jo (Case) Cooper in Casa Grande, Arizona on November 16, 1952.
He married Nancy Bartel on August 12, 1977.
He graduated from Diamond High School in Diamond, Missouri and obtained a Bachelor of Political Science and A Master in Business Administration from the University of Missouri.
Gary’s career was spent in hospital administration and as the CFO of many hospitals. The highlight of his career was being the CFO for Diagnostic Hospital in Baton Rouge LA, where his two daughters were born.
He loved all sports and was a big fan of Mizzou sports and St. Louis Cardinals.
Gary was preceded in death by his daughter Christin Cooper and parents Darrell and Betty Jo Cooper.
Along with his wife, he will be missed by daughter: Ashley (Jonathan) Thornhill, of Columbia; grandchildren: Haylie, Lacey, Sophie, Melody; sister: Kelly (Pete) Hall of Diamond, Missouri; brother: Bruce (Cindy) Cooper of Chillicothe, Illinois;
