She was born March 17, 1939 in Lincoln, NE. She moved from Crocket, TX, to Arizona in 2016. She enjoyed living at Las Palmas Grand, where she was able to continue her lifelong love of music as a member of their choir.
Sondra was a graduate of the University Northern Colorado in Greeley Colorado in Elementary Education. She is a Member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. Sondra enjoyed teaching and was a member of many clubs, church groups and organizations. Sondra especially enjoyed acting in community theater in all of the communities in which she lived (which were many as the wife of a Lt Colonel in the US Air Force).
Sondra was married for 50 years to Richard Byrne (deceased, 2013). She is survived by her three children.
