J. H. McCrory of Louin suffered a stroke of paralysis early last week and was brought to Newton Infirmary. His condition grew gradually worse until the end came Thursday afternoon. While Mr. McCrory was living at Louin at the time he was stricken, he had spent the most of his life in the Garlandville neighborhood and was well and favorable known in this community. His wife had preceded him to the grave, but he is survived by several children, and several brothers and sisters near here and elsewhere to mourn his demise. The Record has not been able to secure any details.
