Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice J. Brewer, 87, of Smithdale, MS will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday May 15, 2007 at Ebenezer Methodist Church in Smithdale, Ms. with Hollis McGeehee & Rev. Aaron Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Edenezer Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday, La.
Mrs. Brewer was born October 23, 1919 in Franklin, MS to Rufus and Georgia Jones. She passed away Saturday May 12, 2007 at her residence at Smithdale. She was a home maker, a member of the Ridgecrest Garden Club, a Sunday School teacher, a collector, and an avid "rock hound". She was a lifelong member of Ebenezer Methodist Church.
