Mrs. Evie Gertrude Thomas, wife of John W. Thomas, former resident of the Carter's Chapel community, died at her home In Gastonla, N. C, Monday She was 55 years of age and was born in Clarke County, Miss., and was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were held In Gastonla Wednesday morning at the Loray Baptist Church. Mrs. Thomas will be brought to Dublin Thursday and interment rites will be held at the Carter's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery at 2 P. M, Survivors include her husband, one sister, Mrs. W T. Miller, of Gastonla, and other relatives
