Our precious Angie Avritt went home to be with the Lord on November 27th, 2018.

Angie was born Angela Marie Tenter on February 24th, 1976 in Healdsburg, California, to Darrel and Connie
Tenter.

She grew up in California but finished her schooling in Olympia, Washington, where she met and married
her husband of 25 years, David Avritt (Retired Combat Veteran). She was light through many military
deployments and throughout his military carrier.

Life took them to many places over the years, but their family finally settled in the Paradise and Chico
area where they raised their son Josh and made a life for themselves.

Angie spent her career as a Family Assistance Specialist assisting military veterans and their families with
many deployment-related needs.

In the course of her work, she reached out to over 20,000 service members and assisted families with
over 400+ cases. Her colleagues relied upon her for training and assistance, and she was the longest
serving person in her company. She served countless long hours and loved her work and those she
served.

When she wasn’t working, you might find her spending time with one of her many nieces and nephews,
teaching them how to bake or just showering them with goodies and trinkets.

Whether it was hosting family and friends for holidays, enjoying a good conversation or playing a game,
Angie truly enjoyed the simple things in life. No matter where she was or what she was doing, Angie
found a way to make it fun and enjoyable with her humor and positivity.

Everyone who knew Angie knew that she was special. She will be sorely missed.

Services will be held at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Chico, CA on Friday, December 7th at 2 pm.
Flower arrangements can be sent to Pleasant Valley Baptist 13539 Garner Lane, Chico CA 9597
