Edna Rebecca (Braddock) Sisler age 88 of Independence Road, Independence, WV passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 29, 1930 the daughter of the late John Joseph Braddock and Lily Louetta (Murphy) Braddock.

She is survived by four children, two sons: Paul H. Sisler, and Roger L. Sisler both of Independence, WV: two daughters Sharon R. Stone and husband Bill Stone of Tunnelton, WV,and Cheryl R. Larew and companion Doug of Kingwood, WV; four grandchildren Rebecca Myers and husband John of Kingwood, WV, Bryan and Joshua Larew, and Eleni Larew: three great grandchildren: Kirsten, Delilah, Autumn Myers: also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Edna was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Houston, one son: Kenneth Edward Sisler: four brothers Elve, Roy, Ray, and Johnny Braddock; three sisters: Goldie, Katherine, and Lola.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister to her family. She enjoyed gardening, camping, going on long walks, bird watching, and spending time with her family.

Edna was a member of the Independence Baptist Church.

Family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton, WV Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Carl Trickett officiating. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery.
