She was born Feb. 26, 1890, in Vanadosia, Ohio, a daughter of the late Abraham and Mary McGee Karns.
She had been a resident of Houston for the past 45 years and was a member of the Houston Methodist Church, where she had served as a superintendent of the Junior League for over 25 years. She was also a member of Chartiers Chapter 97 Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Patsch was a school teacher in her early years and at one time served on the Houston Board of Education.
Surviving are her husband, Clark W. Patsch; two sons, William C. and John K., both of Houston; one brother, Charles Karns, of Primrose; one sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Wright, of McDonald, and eight grandchildren. A son, Ralph, is deceased.
