Alice K. Cordts, 87, of Hanover, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Transitions Healthcare – Gettysburg. She was the wife of William Edward Cordts II who died August 7, 2004. Born December 13, 1930 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of Peter and Alice (Ferree) Foster. Alice was a member of Sacred Heart Basilica, Edgegrove and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are five children; Alice Rose Blonkowski and husband Jim of Westminster, MD, Susan Dickinson and husband Richard of Crossville, TN, Barbara Cordts of Olathe, KS, William E. Cordts III and wife Karen of Hanover and Mariella Wallen and husband Jim of New Oxford; eight grandchildren, Kate, Juli, Irene, Steven, Beth, Kenneth, Ryan and Billy and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two siblings; Lorraine Zielinski and John Foster.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Sacred Heart Basilica, Edgegrove with Rev. Joseph R. Howard as celebrant. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date
