Goldie Ann Brubaker, 65, of Hutchinson, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born December 6, 1952, in Sterling, to Everett Leroy and Wilma Jean (Hileman) Gates.

Goldie was an insurance specialist for the Medical Center and most recently, for Dr. Robert Coleman.

On December 10, 1968, she married David Brubaker in Anthony. They shared almost 50 years of marriage.

Goldie is survived by: husband, David; son, Ronnie Brubaker (Sara); daughter, Sherry Treece, all of Hutchinson; sister, Carlene ‘Short’ Taylor of Abilene; and grandchildren, David, Haley, and Charity Treece.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Jolene Householder; and brother-in-law, Gene Taylor.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Elliott Chapel. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Goldie Ann Brubaker Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
