Son of Tristram Chase Goding and wife Susan Berry. He married 1- Caroline A. Goodwin in Kennebec Co ME 7 Jan 1857 and 2 - Margaret "Bertha" Manning/Robinson in Ayer 22 Oct 1883 in Ayer MA. Father of 10 children (9 with Caroline). He worked as a telegraph operator and died of complications from a paralytic shock/seizure
