Funeral services for Ricky Gene Davis, age 63 of Bradford and formerly Nashville, will take place at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Poplar Grove Cemetery near Trenton.
Mr. Davis was the former president of a communications company named E21 in Nashville. He was a great football player, winning All-State awards and Memphis Metro Player of the Year in high school. He received a football scholarship to the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where he played from 1973-1977.

Brother - Ray Davis and wife Carol of Milan
Nieces and Nephews - Michael Davis, Brad Davis, Crystal Allman, Cory Thorpe, and Scott Thorpe
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl V. and Virginia Shanklin Davis, and a sister, Bettie (Danny) Thorpe.
