Alice V. Alexanderson, 91, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, May 7, 2000 at the Kroontje Health Care Center. A native of Sweden, Alice was the daughter of Selma Svensson and Johan Johnsson. Alice was the wife of the late John Alexanderson.

Alice was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sonja Johnsson and Agda Gabrielsson and two brothers, Torvald Johnsson and Enar Johnsson.

She is survived by three children, Mary Rodriguez of Blacksburg, Jon Alexanderson of Bedford Hills, N.Y., and Linda Ebert of Hendersonville, N.C. Alice is also survived by a brother, Borje Johnsson; and a sister, Asta Lindberg; and four grandchildren, Beth and Bill Rodriguez and Laurie and Mark Ebert.

Funeral service will be held in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel in Blacksburg on Wednesday, May 10, 2000 at 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Kisco, New York on Friday, May 12, 2000 at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service on Wednesday at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
