According to the log books, their first voyage was to the West Indies; the second voyage was to Virginia, "thence to Amersterdam," on Feb. 11, 1783. Prizes captured were the Brigantines Phoenix and Dispatch, and the sloop British Grenadier. ^1
"...[Nathan] was a soldier in the revolutionary war. In 1805, he removed to Granville, Ohio, where he continued until his death. Their children were Mary, married George Avery Freeman, mentioned below; Nathan died in Ohio; Sarah died young; Abigail, married Roger Bush; Sarah, married Joseph Kenyon, and they were the grandparents of ex-Governor Cox of Ohio." ^2
