Mamie Whipp Osswald, 84, of 31 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, died Monday after a lengthy illness. She is the daughter of the late Thomas Shaeffer and Martha Ann (Thomas) Whipp.
Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel W. Osswald, in 1961.
She was a member of the Twin Valley Grange and the First United Church of Christ.
She is survived by a brother, William E. Whipp, who resided with her.
Services will be held at 2pm Friday at the Kramer & Moeller Funeral Home, Lewisburg, with Rev. A. E. Hauck and Rev. Harley Brown officiating.
Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 and 7-9pm Thursday.
