Cannefax Rites
Services for Mrs. Charlotte Lee Cannefax, 45, daughter of Police Sergt. E. L. Trice, will be at 3 Thursday at Wesley Methodist Church at Bakersfield, Cal., of which she was a member. The body is at Greenlawn mortuary at Bakersfield, and interment will be at Greenlawn cemetery.*
Mrs. Cannefax, the wife of J. D. Cannefax, died in her sleep Sunday night at her home, 1005 Meadows street, Bakersfield. She was to have entered the hospital there today for scheduled brain surgery. Her father left here by plane yesterday.
A native of Clinton county, Mo., Mrs. Cannefax lived here from the age of five years until moving to Bakersfield in 1947. She was a Central High School graduate.
In addition to her father and husband, survivors include one daughter, Linda Lee, of the home; her mother, Mrs Lela Trissel, and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Effie Ball, both of Bakersfield.
