He was a great story-teller especially about facts from our town, the Philippine history and the War. He was a great conversationalist. Many times he has related the story when he was recruited to be a U.S. Guerilla fighter. That day he signed the papers and reported for duty, was the day Japan surrendered and they were all sent home.
On Saturday, October 11, 2014 the family and friends of Andres went to Las Vegas to celebrate his 90th Birthday. It was a big celebration as he loved to mingle with relatives and friends. Going to the casinos to play slot machines had a special place in his heart. He seemed not tire whenever he was in the casinos.
