Sister of Well Know Lacrosse Player Passes Away Monday Afternoon
New Westminster, February 21 (Special) - Miss Hazel Gray, a well known young lady of this city and sister of Messrs. Wells Gray and Alexander Gray, prominent members of New Westminster Senior Lacrosse Club, died at the Royal Columbian Hospital yesterday afternoon.
Miss Gray was taken ill three months ago with a attack of appendicitis, and since that time underwent three operations in the hope of saving her life, but it was all to no avail, and she passed away at 2 o'clock on Monday afternoon. She was sixteen years of age, and was the youngest daughter of Mr. Thomas Gray.
The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon to the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Sapperton, and the services will be conducted by Rev. J. S. Henderson of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.
