Mrs. Woodruff is survived by her three sons, Bobby Jack (Barbara) of Guyton, Georgia, Franklin (Frances) of Louisville and Terry Lee (Karen) of Ojai, California. She was the grandmother of seven grandchildren Lin (Trudy) of Louisville, Marc (Callie) of Louisville, Beth Hemphill (Jason) of Louisville, Charles (Yvonne) of Camarillo, California, David (Jennifer) of Newberry Park, California, Todd (Stephanie) of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Stephanie Mikell (Brett) of North Augusta, South Carolina. Her eleven great grand grandchildren Katie Shotts (Jay), Nathan and John Hemphill, Andrew and Richard Woodruff all of Louisville, Emily, Jake, and Hailey Woodruff, of Camarillo, California, Ashlyn Mikell of North Augusta, South Carolina , and Olivia and Madelyn Woodruff of Richmond Hill, Georgia.
She also leaves her sister Iona Ray of Louisville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Woodruff and her husband and sons operated a Grade C and Grade A Dairy farm in the Estes Community. Mr. Woodruff was recognized as the Dairy Farmer of the Year in 1962, but it was definitely a family affair as she and their sons worked closely with him. She also worked at the Louisville Pants Factory and was a beautician.
She loved gardening and growing flowers. Her grandchildren thought she was the best cook in the county and passed this and the love of the land on to her sons and grandchildren.
