She was employed at Dauphin Deposit Bank (Highland Park branch) and later became a homemaker, spending her time caring for her grandchildren. She was a life member of the AACA, and enjoyed traveling the country from one tour to the next. Carol was an avid reader, and she cherished her family. Her grandchildren brought her immense joy in her most recent years. She loved all, and was loved by many.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald R. Barlup; her children, Rich Barlup (Lisa Bowers) of Mechanicsburg, Heather Kauffman (Ron) of Enola, and Scott Barlup (Tanya Good) of Mechanicsburg; her grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Megan and Mya; and three brothers, John A. Nace, Jr., Kenneth Nace, and Jeffrey Nace. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Nace.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, November 26, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill. A viewing will take place one hour prior to services at the church. Immediately following the service, burial will be held at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
