Gloria Cook Nunley Coppinger, 85 of Ringgold, Georgia took the hand of Jesus on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. She was a member of the East Ridge Nazerene Church. She enjoyed gardening, and loved flowers. She also was an animal lover.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford, and Cora Cook; husbands Jay W. Nunley, and William Coppinger; son, Dennis Nunley; siblings Juanita Baker, Sue Harris, G.C. Cook, and Cleon Cook.
Survivors include her children, Sherry (Gary) Lawhorn, Shirley (J.R.) Kilgore; grandchildren Christy (Joe) Searcy, Melissa (Cory) Samples, and Spencer Lawhorn; Great-grandchildren, John, Scotty, and Jay Searcy, and Molly, and Della Samples; along with several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday November 25, 2018 at Tennessee- Georgia Memorial Park with Rev. Charles Knight officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the East Ridge Church of the Nazarene, and Tapestry Hospice.
