Glenn was born October 20, 1937 in Byars, Oklahoma to George Thomas Nail and Bessie Juanita (Wallace) Nail. He graduated from Wanette High School, and he married Helen Bessie Bentley April 21, 1958 at the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Wanette. They moved to Tecumseh where he started driving trucks. He was a truck driver for Highland Dairy and multiple others. Later, they moved to Norman, Del City, and then back to Wanette where they had a farm. Most of Glenn’s life, he drove a truck delivering milk and tending to his farm which he loved. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Konawa, Oklahoma. Glenn loved to talk, and he never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen Nail; one son, Glenn Nail, Jr. and wife, Betty of Tecumseh; two daughters, Sandy Watson of Tecumseh, and Benita Gentry and husband, Rafael of Mesa, Arizona; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bessie Nail; three brothers, James, Eugene, and Clayton Nail; and one sister, Geneva Franklin.
Graveside service: Friday, November 23, 2018 at Wanette Cemetery, and Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate. Services under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
