DEATH OF ROY CURRAN
News has reached Neosho of the sudden death of Roy E. Curran, former Neosho businessman, at his home in St. Joseph, Saturday. The news came in a message from his daughter, Mrs. Inez Brage, to Miss Esther Rose Wilson of this city. Mr. Curran had been in ill health for some time, suffering from glandular trouble. He had received treatment at a hospital and was considered on the way to health when a heart attack overcame him. He rallied from this and was again apparently recovering when he had the second heart attack which he did not survive. . Funeral services were held Monday and burial was made in the cemetery at the family's home town, Garden City, Mo. Curran was manager of the Kelfer drygoods store when that establishment occupied the building on the north side of the square now occupied by the J. C. Penney Co. store. Ho and his family moved from here about five years ago. His wife and daughter, who made up his family during his residence here, survive him.
