Daughter of Moses Kirkpatrick and Mary Johnston. She and her sister, Anna were twins. She married Stephen Stewart on Jul 19, 1806 in Harrods Creek, Jefferson Co., KY. They had three children: Prscilla, James & Cynthia. At the time of her marriage her father was deceased and Jonathan Thomas was her step-father. At her death she sent for her children to bid her farewell, and sang a verse of this old hymn, "Jerusalem, My Happy Home. My friends, I bid you all adieu; I leave you in God's care, And if I never more see you, Go on, I'll meet you there." She died of consumption at the home of her mother where she was staying temporarily, while Dr. Glass was taking care of her. She was buried at Middletown Cemetery.
