Clifford Burton Snowberger Sr., of The Villages, Florida, and formerly of Muhlenberg Township, died May 16, 2007, at 9:30 p.m. in the Hospice House, The Villages, Florida. He was the husband of Myrtle A. (Busch) Snowberger. He was predeceased by his first wife, Marjorie Jean (Owens) Snowberger, who died Jan. 5, 2000.
Born Sept. 17, 1918, in New Brighton, Beaver County, Pa., he was a son of the late Arthur E. and Sarah J. (Dunn) Snowberger. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Clifford was a member of Presbyterian Church of Fruitland Park, Fla. He was a 1937 graduate of New Brighton High School and a 1947 graduate of Geneva College with a B.A. in Education. He than received his Masters in Education in 1950 from the University of Pittsburgh.

Clifford was employed as a teacher from 1948 to 1959 with New Brighton High School. He was later the principal with Gettysburg High School (1959-1963) and principal with Kittanning High School (1963-1967). Clifford was last employed eight years as the principal of Muhlenberg High School, until his retirement in 1977.

He is also survived by two children, Clifford B. Jr., husband of Barbara (Nothstein) Snowberger of Lehighton, Carbon County, Pa. and Marsha D. (Snowberger) wife of Olin William Hotchkiss of Strongsville, Ohio. There are also four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
