Born April 1, 1887, in Casey county, he had lived there most of his life and resided in Boyle county for the past ten years. He recently had been engaged as a farmer.
Survivors are his wife Mrs. Virginia Clarkston; five daughters, Mrs. Gladys Gover and Miss Barbara Ruth Clarkston, both of Junction City; Miss Donzett [Bulah] Clarkston, Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs [Wilma] Ruth Spurling, Shelbyville, Ind., and Mrs. Louise Percifield, of Nashville, Ind.
Six sons, Jim Clarkston, Junction City: Earl and Omer [Homer] Clarkston, Both of Edinburgh, Ind.; Woodrow and Charles Clarkston, both of Franklin, Ind., and Merle Clarkston, Madison. Ind.;
Two brothers, Add C. Clarkston, Plainfield, Ind., and Shelby Clarkston, Franklin, Ind., 36 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending the arrival of sons and daughters from out of the state. The body was removed to Stith Funeral Home.
