She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Douglas Dannay. She is also survived by her sister, Claudia Bledsoe, and brother-in-law Robert Bledsoe of Willow Street.

Born on September 21st, 1946 in Queens, N.Y., she was the daughter of Edward and Anita Schuh. Barbara graduated from Freeport High School on Long Island. She completed her undergraduate degree at the State University of NY at New Paltz.
