Mathews - Mrs. Hazel Compton Evans, 67, died Wednesday at her home in Susan after a long illness.
She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, G. Glenson Evans of Susan; a stepson, John Evans of Port Haywood and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, by the rev. E. A. Lockwood assisted by the Rev. James K. Rodgers. Burial will be in St. Paul Annex Cemetery.
